Privacy policy
Your dating life is private. This policy explains what Booby collects, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data.

What we collect
Account details: first name, email address, hashed password, date of birth, gender and who you are looking for.
Profile content: photos, bio, interests, prompts, city, and optional details such as work, education, height and habits.
Usage data: likes, matches, messages, rewards, sign-in times and basic device information needed to keep the service secure.
How we use it
To create your profile, show you relevant people, deliver matches and messages, calculate rewards and keep the community safe.
To send service notifications you have opted into. You can change notification preferences at any time in Settings.
To investigate reports, prevent fraud and enforce our terms. We do not use your private messages for advertising.
Who can see your information
Your profile is visible to signed-in members (unless you hide it). Your date of birth is never shown — only your age. Your email is never shown to other members.
Messages are visible only to you and your match. Our safety team may review reported content to investigate a report.
We use service providers for hosting, storage and analytics. They process data on our instructions and under contract.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your profile, photos, matches, messages, rewards and reports you submitted.
Some records may be retained where required by law or to resolve an active safety investigation, for no longer than necessary.
Your choices
You can access and edit your profile, hide it, change discovery preferences, manage notifications, unblock members, or delete your account from Settings.
To request a copy of your data or ask a privacy question, email care@booby.love. We respond within 30 days.
Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt and a unique salt per user. Sessions use signed, httpOnly cookies. We never log plaintext passwords.
No system is perfectly secure. Use a unique password and contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
